Restaurant Style Shrimp Fried Rice
This recipe for shrimp fried rice will make your home taste like your favorite restaurant. It's quick and easy to make, and you can have it for dinner or as a treat on the weekend. This dish is sure to become a family favorite because it has tasty shrimp, fluffy rice, and bright vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Put the vegetable oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat
Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good
Move the garlic to one side of the pan and add the beaten eggs to the other
After cooking the eggs all the way through, mix them with the garlic
Put cooked carrots, shrimp, and peas in the pan
Cook for two to three minutes
Break up any clumps of cooked rice in the pan before adding it to the pan
Stir-fry for another two to three minutes
Add the soy sauce and sesame oil to the rice mixture and mix it all together
Add pepper and salt to taste
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped green onions
